Recently I have seen most of bloggers use video posts on their blog. What could be the reason? Video posts are well accepted by the visitors and most of us would like to watch a video with explanation rather than reading a complete or a long blog post. When you create a video post try to follow these tips which could make your post more interesting for your viewers.

You will find regular video posts on blogs of Darren Rowse and John Chow

  • Make video’s short – Your video should be short and should not make the viewer bored. Stick to your video post topic and try to explain things clearly
  • Use a good camera and the location should be lit up well – To get a good video, you need to use a good camera like the Flip or any good one. I would recommend the camera that I use now for the pictures and videos for my blog - canon T1
  • Upload your videos to video hosting sites like Youtube or Revver - You can earn from these video and I would recommend Revver for this. The earnings are not very high, but you get something out of this
  • Add your blog details along with the title of the video - When you create the video, you should add your blog URL and some other information to the beginning of your video post. This can help you to build more traffic and loyal visitors
  • Upload the video to maximum video hosting sites - You should try to upload your videos to maximum video hosting sites so that your get good number of audiences for your video and hard work.

To conclude, video posts are of good use, but depends on how you present it. In today’s world, people and expecting more from you, so try to go for the best and give the best.
