I recently created an account with blip tv for uploading videos of my travel. I find the uploading process very simple and fast. Interesting part of this video hosting site is that you get paid for the advertisments which are displayed along with your videos.

How to start off

Just go to Blip.tv and register for a free account. Once you complete the registration, you can start uploading your videos.

Go to the advertisement link and update your preferences.

You also will need to update your payment info. You can get your payments via paypal or by cheque.

I am not aware about the earning potential of this program, but will keep you updated in my future posts. I have tried Revver but the earnings are not much. This may be because the views are also very less and you need to get good number views and clicks for good earning. In Revver the advertisements are served by Google Adsense and in Blip TV, I have seen ads from Google Adsense as well as other ones. Most appreciated point about blip TV is the quality of the video as well as other features like cross posting to your blog directly when you upload the video. Upload video is very simple and they have provided special upload tools as well. You can even FTP your videos to blip TV and the file name becomes the title of the video. If you are lucky enough to get your video popular and gets listed on the front page, you can earn more that US$ 2000 per month.
