Mattcutts is the head of the Google web spam team. He joined Google in the year 2000. He did his PhD in at the University of Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has an M.S. from UNC-Chapel Hill, and B.S. degrees in both mathematics and computer science from the University of Kentucky.
