Another tool for managing your blog’s advertisements

Google Ad Manager is another tool to sell your advertising slots and serve ads on your blog. The problem with Google Ad manager is that you need to request for an invitation for Google Admanager and once Google send you and invitation, you can login and use the tool. I have just started using it and the Ads served on this blog is using Ad Manager. The advantage of this tool is that you can opt to serve Google Adsense Ads to the slots which are vacant or it has the feature to compete with the purchased ads. Other option is that you can override the Google Adsense properties by adding some tags to your blog <head> tag and bled the ads as you can do in the Google Adsense control panel.

If you have still not applied for an Ad Manager Invitation, just do it and try it. They are constantly upgrading the features and I feel on a long run, it will be helpful. The biggest advantage of using a third party Ad server is that you do not need to give load to your server and I feel Google servers are very strong and can cater the ads efficiently.
