Blog Earnings in 2008

Year 2008 has almost come to an end. Its now time to check your blog earnings for this year. How much did you earn and how did you earn. You need to keep a check on the best earning program for your blog, so that you can work accordingly in the coming year. Set targets and try to achieve them. You should try to get loyal readers, subscribers so that you can get more traffic and improve your online presence. Wishing you all a very happy new year and better 2009.

For me year 2009 was good and I am planning to cut down my time in working on my own affiliate program and just concentrate on my blogs. Right now I write on 3 blogs and often get busy with my official work, travels and sometimes some development work, which hold me back from regularly writing on my blogs. I will be spending more time on doing posts this coming year and improve my traffic and sales. Google Adsense was the best revenue generator for me, but now I see my affiliate sales going up and I am sure that in the coming year, I will be doing much better with affiliate sales. The advantage with affiliate sales is that if you have good sales, you get what you earn from Google Adsense in one month in one day and it is happening for me now.

Earning through affiliate programs

I have been depending on my blog earnings from different options. As I had mentioned in my previous posts, I use programs like Google Adsense, Chitika and Bidvertizer as pay per click programs. I have a regular income from these programs. But for the last two months I have seen a significant increase in earnings from my affiliate sales. I have signed by as an affiliate for different programs and when a sale happens, I get the affiliate commission. My top affiliate earnings was from Quality Unit which sells software like Support Centre, Post Affiliate Pro, Live Agent, etc. I have also noticed good sales from some of other affiliate programs too.
